BRASS LESSONS

I tutor the full range of brass instruments, including trumpet, cornet, trombone, tuba, and French horn (and everything in between!).

As a busy professional tuba player with extensive experience in both live performance and studio work, I bring a wealth of knowledge and real-world insight to my teaching.

With years of private and music service teaching experience, I am committed to tailoring lessons to suit each student’s individual needs—whether they’re preparing for exams, working towards a performance, or simply learning for enjoyment.

Lessons are available at my home studio in New Cross, or, depending on your location, I can travel to your home for added convenience. My goal is to help each student reach their musical potential in a way that is both enjoyable and rewarding.

PIANO

I offer piano lessons up to Grade 5 level, and I’m committed to working with each student to find the direction that suits their interests and goals.

Whether you’re looking to prepare for exams, learn music for your own enjoyment, or even accompany your singing, I’ll tailor our lessons to fit your needs.

We’ll cover essential techniques like scales and arpeggios, sight-reading, and rhythm, but I also believe in making learning fun and personal.

If you’re interested in a specific style or genre, we can explore that, or if you’re more focused on exam preparation, I’ll guide you through the process step by step. Whatever your musical aspirations are, I’m here to support you on your journey!

ABOUT ME

As well as performing, I am an experienced brass and piano teacher, teaching beginners all the way up to professional level.

I provide private music tuition across South East, Central and West London. I also offer in-studio lessons at my home in New Cross.

Whether you're just beginning, preparing for exams or just want to further your abilities, I can help you along your musical journey.

I have a Masters Degree in Music from the Royal College of Music where I graduated with Distinction.

Currently I work for both the Triborough Music Hub and THAMES Music ServiceI and therefore come fully DBS checked (enhanced)
